Employers continue to struggle with creating procedures, policies, and action plans to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. Often organizations look to existing compliance functions hoping the synergies between diversity, equity, and inclusion and existing federal contractor obligations offer some solutions. This session will explore the important distinctions of affirmative action programs (AAPs) and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and how an organization can leverage efforts in these areas effectively while minimizing risk and exposure.
