This session will include both an overview of the legal requirements for absence management and the latest legal developments under the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and Arizona’s paid sick requirements under the Fair Wages and Healthy Families Act. Additionally, we will discuss crucial overlaps and implications for leave management because of recent developments relative to religious accommodation in the workplace and implementation of the Pregnant Workers’ Fairness Act.
