When does DEI Go Too Far? Mitigating Risk Associated with Diversity Programs
Since its inception, equal employment opportunity (EEO) has typically been achieved via two paths. One, affirmative action, which continues to be hotly debated, to an increasing preference for utilizing DEI initiatives, often viewed as the path of least resistance. Why then is DEI facing the same scrutiny and debate? In this session, we will explore both paths, discussing their similarities, their differences, and most importantly, how to mitigate risk associated with implementing today’s DEI programs.
