Topic: Compensation Analysis 101 Workshop
It’s been almost 1.5-decades since OFCCP issued its compensation regulations, and during that time, the state of the art in measuring pay equity has evolved considerably. An circa 2006 introduction to basic compensation analysis concepts is inadequate since OFCCP’s issuing Directive 307 (and subsequent rescission) and Directive 2018-05. In this session, we will introduce participants to modern Compensation Analysis 101 concepts so they can properly align their compensation compliance efforts to modern requirements. This presentation will be broken into three (3) parts: (1) introduction to modern compensation compliance requirements from enforcement agencies; (2) basic statistical methods (e.g., multiple linear regression); (3) advanced analytical models of pay discrimination (e.g., pay analysis groups, occupational segregation). Importantly, participants will be provided a free compensation analysis program that will accomplish both basic regression to advanced pay analysis group analyses.
